Change is the physical expression of energy in motion!

With this being said, do we embrace it, or do we get challenged by it? Do you look at change with lots of questions, such as how will it impact my life and the lives of others including my family, friends and society as a whole?

What is it that we are so afraid of…the unknown? Can I really take this step into the unknown? I like my safety bubble. Or do I? Is that just what I’ve become comfortable with?

These and many more thoughts drive us into uncertainty when things change, and we feel we have lost control of ourselves or a situation and the future can be daunting.

So, I wonder what would be possible if we were to put aside our preconceived ideas of not knowing the future outcome, of certainty. Would we embrace the opportunity that’s presented and step into a position and mindset of allowance…? Remember change is the physical expression of energy in motion!

The human condition that we have all been living in, is to mostly focus on conformity and playing the small game of shrinking, and we only appear to be safe when we have certainty of what the next is. This is a far-removed position from what our own innate wisdom and compass is trying to show us. We are here to experience the constant ebbs and flow of change, to help support our expansion for Fully Living. Yes, that’s right Fully Living. How many of us really understand this concept? We may say and think we do, but do we? I would suggest that it’s an idea we hold, driven by conditioning of our up to date lived experiences, and yes those lived experiences hold validation of stories and experiences that happened but what context did we colour them with??? Or do they just keep us shackled in validated stories that we created, or do they just give us experiences that we’ve interpreted and put our own perspective of judgement on??? Mmmmm I wonder.

As I ponder this question, I reflect on my own experiences and acknowledge the profoundness of the stories I also engaged in. Boy oh boy I sure was a gold medallist in this event – the limiting beliefs I’ve had about myself, the constant comparison to others! Wow I sure let this web of entanglement enslaved me (and yes I did it to myself) into existing as opposed to experiencing the beautiful flow and abundance of Fully Living. This is something I’m very much aware of. My head talk was always so loud and controlling, I didn’t have any other experience or resource to draw from, so it took me a long, long time to create this change, and learning to live in the present moment became my greatest resource.

What a different picture that could have been, had I really understood my beliefs and stories, one could only imagine. And yet as I say this I’m deeply grateful for all the experiences that have come my way. The lovely, the very challenging and the downright ugly ones. Let’s be honest and authentic here, how many times have we all wished the ugly and challenging experiences would just dissolve into a puff of smoke and potentially choke someone so we could get out of the hellishly charged emotional and physical experience. All those who have had this experience and thoughts put your hands up, be honest with yourself and have no shame in owning your own experience.

So, what has all this got to do with change? Everything!!!

Change we are told, is something to be cautious of or run from. It’s not in our nature to be risk takers, well most of us anyway. We have all been indoctrinated to become risk averse, rather than to grab change with both hands and enjoy the ride. Feel all the highs, lows and bumps along the way, no safety nets to protect us from WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN. This is what Fully Living is when you embrace your own innate capacity for change. Remember Change is the physical expression of energy in motion.
